ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking highly motivated and talented Software, Systems, and Electronics Engineering interns to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are looking to gain valuable experience in their field and develop their skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work on real-world projects alongside experienced engineers.

IRVINE, CA, UNITED STATES
Senior FPGA Engineer
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior FPGA Engineer will be based in Irvine and responsible for the hardware/firmware design lifecycle including conceptual and detailed design, implementation (HDL) and V&V for high performance and high-speed systems in both aerospace and defense markets.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have had prior experience with the following:
- Xilinx and Altera (Intel) FPGAs
- VHDL or Verilog
- Digital video processing using FPGAs
- Test Bench Functional and Timing Simulation
- ModelSIM/QuestaSim
- Chipscope / Signal Tap debug tool
- High-Speed data interface (over 200MHz), which includes resource allocation, IP usage, signal integrity analysis
- DO-254 experience preferred
- Experience with DDR SDRAM is preferred

Electronics Technician
ABOUT THE ROLE
2 x full time positions exist for Electronics Technicians to be based in our offices here in Irvine.
The Technicians will be responsible for performing routine tasks to ensure repair shop quality standards are met. This will involve calibration, testing, repair of parts, mechanical assemblies and providing accurate reporting on these works.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting, operating, installing, repair, testing and calibration of electronic, mechanical and specialized test equipment
- Responsible for providing required technical support to programs including, but not limited to, technical support services, logistics, information technology, software, test and evaluation.
- Ability to perform necessary adjustments to provide in-tolerance conditions and report all out-of-tolerance conditions
- Responsible for interfacing with vendors to conduct research on parts/components for technical support.
- Recording information on all repairs and publication discrepancies
- Identify and navigate appropriate electronic engineering and maintenance documentation to conduct repair actions
- Understanding of electronic circuit design for fault isolation and troubleshooting
- Operate thermal chambers, functional test equipment and perform software driven tests
- Effectively communicate with workshop, Engineering, Quality and customer service departments to solve technical repair problems
Must be:
- Familiar with avionics equipment and systems
- Have advanced knowledge of Analog and Digital Theory
- Have strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and assess situation and make sound judgements; and
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Pay range: $20 – $28 per hour (dependent on skills and experience)
Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineer
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are searching for an innovative, deadline-driven mechatronics engineer to join our team. The mechatronics engineer’s responsibilities include improving existing mechanical systems, developing new product concepts and prototypes, designing and testing mechanical and electronic systems, and developing various automated systems.
To be successful as a mechatronics engineer, you should be able to work within demanding timeframes and develop original, practical solutions to problems. Outstanding candidates draw on a wide range of engineering principles and are not afraid to wander into unchartered territory.
Mechatronics Engineer Responsibilities:
- Developing and enhancing electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic products.
- Creating automated systems and the software to control them.
- Conducting research, documenting findings, and presenting reports at meetings.
- Developing graphical representations (models), tolerance analyses and other design documents for mechanical parts and final products.
- Conducting studies to determine the feasibility, costs, or performance benefits of new mechatronic equipment
- Maintaining design records or records systems
- Performing tests of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems or equipment.
- Publishing engineering reports documenting design details or various test results
- Identifying areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and making recommendations for improvement.
- Understanding problems or client briefs and developing solutions that satisfy them.
- Selecting the required tools and materials for the manufacturing process.
- Attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to network with others and stay on top of field advancements.
Mechatronics Engineer Requirements:
- BSc in mechatronics engineering or similar, with 5-10 years of experience.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a team or alone.
- Self-starter with a passion for engineering.
