Production Manager

About the Role

A new and exciting role has become available for an experienced Production Manager to join our dedicated team in Western Sydney. The primary focus area for the role is to manage, plan and coordinate activities with the team to ensure the efficient completion of all manufacturing and production requirements for the business. Underpinned by the knowledge, skills and experience having previously worked in the manufacturing industry, the successful person will be excited to incorporate new ideas and improvement strategies as they take responsibility for all facets of Thomas’s production, including capacity planning, quality control, supply chain management, sub-contractor management and the effective transition of engineering design to production.

This position is a key leadership role that will be an integral component of our growing team.

About You

We are looking for a self-driven, solutions-focused and highly organised production / manufacturing professional looking for a new challenge (or is ready to step up). To be successful in the role, you will have tertiary qualifications in Management or five years minimum experience in relevant production / manufacturing leadership roles as well as a focus on the needs of others, is collaborative in nature, operates flexibly and is outcome-oriented.

The ideal leader for this position has the horsepower to organise and drive the production teams as well as our suppliers and subcontractors. They will happily roll up their sleeves and lead by example with the motivation and aptitude to execute the basics as well – all with heart, humor, and a bias for quality and efficiency along with relentless attention to detail.
