Senior Software Engineer/Developer


A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Software Engineer / Developer to join our talented, hard-working team in Sydney and play a key role in the delivery of our critical and future-acclaimed projects. This role will be primarily responsible for achieving project tasks in accordance with project schedules, providing senior technical SW development support to the team, creating high-level design concepts from draft specs, and interpreting, decomposing, and translating system requirements. As our team grows, this role provides the foundation for a talented person to step in, and really make their mark as they embark on these exciting upcoming projects.


We are looking for a result-orientated Senior Software Engineer / Developer with good communication skills, who is ready to take on their next challenge. To be successful in this role, we are looking for over 7 years’ experience working in Software Development (ideally in a regulated, engineering environment), with proficiency in system-level programming using Java and/or C++ and demonstrated Unix/Linux abilities with hardware interfacing and TCP/IP networking expertise.  Individuals who also have experience using Siemens Polarion or similar ALM Systems will be highly regarded, as will any experience developing middleware or simulation/test frameworks.  Defence or Aviation experience is desirable but not essential.

Defense Technician


A new role has recently become available for a skilled Technician with previous experience in the defense industry to contribute to the repair/production assembly and process improvements for Thomas Global Systems in Irvine, California. The primary responsibilities for this position will include electrical, mechanical, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of various electrical display systems during repair and production. This role sits within a close-knit, dynamic team of talented technicians, and due to growth, we are looking to bring in another skilled Tech to add a further element to this well-working team.


This role is suited to a self-motivated individual who is a good communicator with problem-solving and decision-making skills. The person we are looking for can adapt to constantly changing work assignments and will take the initiative to begin projects independently and complete tasks without supervision. Essential experience includes chemicals handling, electrical (soldering) and mechanical assembly / servicing and repair, electronic test equipment and salvaging of fragile items. In addition to this, candidates with an electronics trade certificate, an IPC J-STD-001 Certification and prior military experience are desirable but not essential.

To conform to the US Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US., Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations by the US Department of State.
